[US] Electrolux - System Engineer

Responsible for Sound Lab operation in North America in order to optimize the trial, develop new solution and support all phases of the product development. Coordinate design and development of sealed refrigeration systems, considering Acoustic and Vibration aspects. Electrolux is a high volume manufacture of refrigerators, consisting of Top mount, Side by Side, Bottom Mount, Freezers and some commercial applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development of acoustic and vibration solution integrating the experimental test (noise chamber, nozzle chamber, thermodynamic) and simulation (CFD, Noise & Vibration, Structural and Modal).
• Coordinate the Acoustic Experimental Test (Reverberant and Hemi-anechoic Chamber.
• Responsible for the design, development, and qualification of cooling system components and/or sub-assemblies relating to the sealed systems group. Some component parts include compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, and others.
• Integrate refrigeration system components directed by the global no frost and compressor teams into North American product.
• Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling and resolving engineering design and test problems. Interface with vendors and other departments on product compliance.
• Develop and initiate new product features and system performance while supporting the transfer of knowledge to product care and manufacturing.
• Initiate and develop ideas that result in system performance improvements and evaluate and recommend improvements to existing components.
