AKG India commenced operations in India in 2008 as a wholly owned subsidiary. AKG India has a manufacturing facility in Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Plan, create and execute simulation in FSI (Fluid-Structure-Interaction) projects supporting the global R&D-team
• Evaluate results with respect to customer requirements, relevant engineering codes, CAD models, experimental results or field data
• Presentation of results to internal and external customers
• Improvement and enhancement of simulation processes

Job Qualifications

• Engineering degree with profound knowledge in simulation techniques with structure und fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer
• Several years practical experience with FSI calculations, preferably in heat exchangers
• Preferably familiar with multiphysics software (for thermal coupling), and knowledge in fluid dynamics (CFD) and strength (FEA) calculation concepts
• Considerable experience with topology optimization, acoustics simulations will be an advantage
• Preferably first international experience, strong technical writing, verbal and written communication skills in English
• Availability for on-site support of internal and external customers (global)
• Availability for longer training phases in German headquarter
• Good apprehension, assertiveness, purposefulness, flexibility
