Good Fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics & dynamics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer and Computational Fluid Dynamics

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ability to understand the various physics of the problem and translate into appropriate CFD models

Analytical and Problem solving skills

Excellent proficiency in CFD & Thermal analysis

Fluid Flow (Internal & External, Steady state & Transient, Incompressible & compressible)

Turbulence models

Conjugate heat transfer, Natural convection, Radiation

Multiphase flows, VOF

Porous media

MRF

Combustion, Reactive flows

Multi species

Hands on Experience in the tools like Fluent & Gambit, CFX, Star CD, Star CCM+, OpenFOAM etc.

Experience in Electronic cooling (with tools like ICEPAK, Flotherm), Fluid structure Interaction, Non-Newtonian flow etc. will be an added advantage

Should be a good team player

Team Lead should be able to lead a team of 5 CFD engineers

Good communication and project management skills

Experience in interaction with customers and project delivery
